1. My Blog
Hello, my name is Cheri and I am a forty-something female figuring out life as I go. A few years ago I woke up and realized that I really wasn't living the life that I fully dreamed. Bits and pieces were on track, but others needed some reinventing. Fast forward two years and I realized this is not such an easy task especially when you 'go it alone.'
If any of this sounds like you can relate, then join me. I'd love to build a tribe of folks who are on the same journey!
2. My Family
I am married to the man of my dreams, Dallas McCoy. We met way back in March 2000 at Fort Drum, NY, and were married on December 6, 2001. He is a good sport and usually onboard with all the crazy ideas that I throw at him.
He is my rock and if I am ever down, he knows exactly what to say to cheer me up. We enjoy date nights, travel, the outdoors, and spending time with our family.
Dallas is definitely one of the bits in my life that I got right first time around. We will soon be 'empty nesters' and I have no doubt that we will enjoy growing old together.
I love him to pieces!

Kayla is our beautiful, shy red-head with a keen sense of humor. Once she befriends you, it is for life! She graduated from FLCCA high school on June 5, 2020, and started Valencia College in the fall to begin her studies as a Dental Hygienist.
Ian is embarking on his senior year of FLCCA high school this fall. He is our handsome red-head that remembers the minute details of everything he experiences. Ian has the biggest heart I've ever seen!
Kayla & Ian, are definitely part of the bits of my life that are amazing. Maddy, well the decision is still out on her, she was 2 years old in August and hasn't slowed down one bit yet!
The Army is my foundation. I enlisted as a 91B Medical Specialist back in 1993, many moons ago! I was in the right place at the right time and received an opportunity to attend the United States Military Academy Prep School (USMAPS) which then afforded me the opportunity to attend and graduate from the United States Military Academy on May 29, 1999.
After 10 years in the Army, I transitioned to civilian life. I joined the largest company in the world devoted to human vaccines, Sanofi Pasteur. I spent 15 years in various capacities including Vaccine Manufacturing, QA Compliance, and Materials Management Training & Support.
On March 31, 2019, I closed that very successful chapter of my career in search of a new adventure...

Here's where it gets really exciting! The next chapter took tremendous detour from our 'normal' lives. We sold the house, and most of its contents, bought an RV, and decided to live full time in 429 sq ft. Yes, all 4 of us & an energetic boxer live in this space. I love it!
We all dreamed of traveling full time and seeing the country. However, our means to finance this adventure sort of fell apart. We landed on our feet in Central Florida where we move locally every 2-3 weeks.
This allows Dallas to bring home the bacon! However, I am very much unsettled with just frying it up in the pan. Hence, the birth of this blog and my new quest to reinvent myself.
Alright, you guessed, it's YOUR TURN! What do we need to know about you? Tell us a little bit about you in the comments below...
