I’m Cheri McCoy, an Associate Director of Operations with experience leading teams in GMP manufacturing, quality systems, and maintenance repair operations. My leadership foundation started at West Point and in the U.S. Army, where I learned how to lead with clarity, resilience, and a deep commitment to people.

I spent over a decade at Sanofi Pasteur in roles across bulk manufacturing, quality, laboratory leadership, and SAP training. That experience gave me a strong technical base and taught me how to build high‑performing teams, drive compliance, and deliver measurable improvements.

For the past several years at Merck, I’ve led through some of the most complex and fast‑moving work of my career. During Project Shield, I guided teams through PPQ, tech transfer, and ultimately the early end of the program — ensuring stability, clarity, and safe, compliant execution. I later supported global network operations in Ireland, where I helped close more than 500 engineering issues and strengthen PPQ readiness.

Most recently, I’ve led the MRO organization, unifying teams across facilities, improving reliability, strengthening safety culture, and embedding Tier governance and MPS principles.

Across every role, the theme is the same: I build strong teams, bring structure to complexity, and create environments where people feel supported and operations run with discipline and purpose. I’m excited when opportunity aligns with my strengths — leading people, improving systems, and delivering operational excellence in a way that brings out the best in teams.
